Wayne Ashley

Wayne Ashley, tenor, earned his Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Houston Moores School of Music. He is a choir member and soloist with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Houston, and also joined the Houston Grand Opera chorus for the 2008 production of Benjamin Britten’s Billy Budd. Wayne attended Henderson State University, Arizona, and earned his bachelor’s degree in instrumental music performance as a euphonium player. He has also worked extensively as a jazz and contemporary pop singer, leading the NuFusion project and Acoustic Syn during his time at Henderson. Wayne has sung with the Houston Chamber Choir since 2008.
