Briana Kruse
Soprano

Briana Kruse, soprano, is a 2009 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Houston, where she majored in music education and vocal performance. She recently completed Level I certification at the Houston Kodály Institute. Briana has performed in numerous operas including Eugene Onegin, The Yeomen of the Guard, and The Grapes of Wrath. In 2009, she was cast as Celia in the Moores Opera Center production of Lucio Silla. In 2007, she won second place in the Moores School Concerto Competition for her performance of Debussy’s La Damoiselle élue. Briana’s additional solo experiences include Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Briana teaches private voice and serves as the music teacher at Bellaire Methodist School for Little Children. She also sings with the Houston Bach Society. This is Briana’s first season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
