Nhu Tran

Marketing and Operations Assistant

Nhu never gets old because she is always “new”! She joins the Houston Chamber Choir after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with summa cum laude honors at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she found her passion for marketing communications through storytelling and creative arts.

While completing her bachelor’s degree, she was an active student reporter for her university’s award-winning student publication, The Signal, where she produced the finest writing and visual articles to serve the university’s population. She also had the honor to do an internship at The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, where she could help make positive impacts on domestic violence and/or sexual assault victims’ lives through digital marketing communications.

Nhu’s song playlist consists of a wide range of genres, from classical to choral, from country to pop. She credits her connection to music to her mom, who was a former music teacher and thus taught her the very first vocal lessons.

Originally from Vietnam, Nhu loves to embrace her identity, and she is proud to add to the Houston Chamber Choir’s diversity. When not wearing her work hat, she enjoys embracing new cultures, trying every one of her mom’s latest recipes and watching soccer games with her dad.

Nhu is looking forward to working with her team at the Houston Chamber Choir to convey the beauty of choral music to the community. You can reach Nhu via email at nhu@houstonchamberchoir.org.
