Spem in alium nunquam habui, praeter in te,
Deus Israel
qui irasceris
et propitius eris
et omnia peccata hominum in tribulatione dimittis
Domine Deus
Creator coeli et terrae
respice humilitatem nostram.

I have never put my hope in any other but in You,
O God of Israel
who can show both anger
and graciousness,
and who absolves all the sins of suffering man
Lord God,
Creator of Heaven and Earth
be mindful of our lowliness.

Sing joyfully unto God our strength; sing loud unto the God of Jacob!
Take the song, bring forth the timbrel, the pleasant harp, and the viol.
Blow the trumpet in the new moon, ev’n in the time appointed, and at our feast day.
For this is a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

O Lord, make thy servant Elizabeth our Queen,

give her her heart's desire,
and deny not the request of her lips;
but prevent her with thine everlasting blessing,
and give her a long life, even for ever and ever.
Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God,
mercifully look upon our infirmities,

stretch forth thy right hand to help and defend us,
through Christ our Lord. Amen.

If ye love me,
keep my commandments.
And I will pray the Father,

Ev’en the spirit of truth.
-
Prevent us O Lord, in all our doings with thy most gracious favour,

O Absalom, my son, O my son.’

quia peccavimus tibi.
Adjuva nos Deus salutaris noster,

Libera nos.

Let us amend the sins
that in our ignorance we have committed,

Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy Name,
deliver us.
